This week I’m reading The OK Book by Amy Krouse Rosenthal aloud to all students at Pine Glen. (We’re in the midst of an Amy Krouse Rosenthal book study to celebrate her life that was recently cut short.) I’m sharing that I’m an “ok” skier, reader, and deep breather and I strive to set goals, reflect, and trust the process to improve.
After reading the book, students are brainstorming things they’re “ok” with a few of their classmates. Third, fourth, and fifth grade students are writing a reflection on their iPads using Google Classroom.
I look forward to continuing the conversation with students about trusting and praising the process.
