The BPS EdTech Team is excited to announce that EarlyEdCon is returning to Burlington this October!

Please join us for the second annual EarlyEdCon at Marshall Simonds Middle School in Burlington on October 15. EarlyEdCon is a free all day conference dedicated to early education and out of school time professionals. The event will focus on best practices in early childhood as they relate to children’s development, birth through school-age. Sessions will focus on language and literacy skills, social-emotional development, STEM, leadership, and other important topics in early childhood.

Following the great success of EarlyEdCon 2015, which included a sold out audience of participants, we are once again bringing together early childhood educators and administrators from around Massachusetts. The focus of our event is to introduce and showcase ideas and best practices for creating an outstanding early childhood learning program. Presentations throughout the event will demonstrate the effectiveness of this type of learning environment and promote new and emerging tools for creating dynamic educational opportunities for students.

Participants will have the opportunity to earn EEC professional development hours, continuing education units (CEUs), or professional development points (PDPs) through Burlington Public Schools.

This event is a shared opportunity organized by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC), Salem State University, the Region 3 Educator and Provider Support (EPS) Partnership, and Burlington Public Schools.

Please visit the EarlyEdCon event site for more details including Registration, Call for Presenters, and Sponsorship details.
