Please note – BPS teachers can bundle hours of participation at How Do I Do That sessions during the school year for Burlington inservice credits. Ten hours of participation will earn one inservice credit. Twenty hours will earn two inservice credits. There is a maximum of two credits for staff members each year.
The BPS EdTech Team will be hosting a How Do I Do That session on Tuesday, November 18 at Francis Wyman Elementary School. Join us for an overview of the new PBS LearningMedia. Francis Wyman teacher Kim Lynch will lead a great opportunity to discover the resources available through PBS LearningMedia. Participants will learn how to make and share folders with some great PBS content along with previously used links. Digital folders are already created and ready to share for K-2 teachers in the areas of weather, physical science, and math. The session will provide detailed demonstrations on how to make and create folders to go in any areas you would like. Time will also be spent exploring the quiz maker, lesson builder, and storyboard.
Members of the BPS EdTech Team will also be available for open technology support during the session. Support is available for Google Apps for Education, iPads, Apps, and any other technology related question or project.
