There will be two January sessions of the How Do I Do That Technology Series.

Please note – BPS teachers can bundle hours of participation at How Do I Do That sessions during the school year for Burlington inservice credits. Ten hours of participation will earn one inservice credit. Twenty hours will earn two inservice credits. There is a maximum of two credits for staff members each year.

Tuesday, January 14 will be a topic session. The BPS EdTech Team will provide a detailed overview and exploration session for the Book Creator iPad app. Book Creator is one of the best educational apps available today and is currently a BPS Foundational App for grades K-8. Book Creator can be used to create student presentations, eBooks, portfolio projects, student journals, and entire course digital textbooks. This versatile app is beneficial in every content area and grade in our schools including high school.

Tuesday, January 28 will be an open edtech support session. Join members of the BPS EdTech and IT Teams for technology support. Our teams will help however we can with technology questions and issues. Participants will also have time to explore and share ideas with Burlington teachers and collaborate about using technology in the classroom. The support session is open from 2:30-5PM.

  1. I’ll be there 1/28 to help Teachers learn about @30hands Mobile for iPad presentations and @30hands Cloud for easy eClassroom collaboration and organizing GoogleDocs content (Think: LMS + GoogleDrive + Dropbox + Social Media + OER, all in a consistent UI that works like a real classroom).
