There will be two November sessions of the How Do I Do That Technology Series.
Please note – BPS teachers can bundle hours of participation at How Do I Do That sessions during the school year for Burlington inservice credits. Ten hours of participation will earn one inservice credit. Twenty hours will earn two inservice credits. There is a maximum of two credits for staff members each year.
Tuesday, November 5 will be a topic session. The BPS EdTech Team will provide a detailed overview and exploration session for teacher blogging options. We will introduce and answer questions about Google Blogger and WordPress. Teacher blogs provide a great platform for classroom websites, flipped classroom opportunities, showcasing student projects, and communicating with parents. Teacher blogs are also a great way to create your own digital portfolio for saving artifacts and examples.
Tuesday, November 19 will be an open edtech support session. Join members of the BPS EdTech and IT Teams for technology support. Our teams will help however we can with technology questions and issues. Participants will also have time to explore and share ideas with Burlington teachers and collaborate about using technology in the classroom. The support session is open from 2:30-5PM.
